SAHI's release showed this on the app. Below it is on SAHI web, where it is a workspace of its own: Options Seller, in the left rail. The example is SAIL, at 164.34, with options expiring on 27 October.
The Options Seller workspace
1Where it is
WhereSAHI webLeft railOptions Seller
On SAHI web, press Options Seller in the left rail, below Scalper, Options Trader and Stocks. Search for any F&O stock or index at the top of the chain.
- AOption chain
Calls on the left, puts on the right, strikes in the middle, with IV, open interest and LTP for each.
- BStrategy
The legs you have picked, each with buy or sell, expiry, strike, call or put, quantity and price.

- CAnalyse
Max profit, max loss, probability of profit, breakeven and Greeks for the whole strategy.
- DPayoff chart
Profit or loss at each price, today and at expiry.
Build a strategy4 steps
- Press Options Seller in the left rail and search for the stock or index.
- Hover a strike in the chain. A small bar appears on that side of the row.
- Press B to add a buy leg or S to add a sell leg. The leg drops into Strategy.
- Read Analyse and the payoff chart, adjust strikes or quantity, then place the basket.
2What it is
One workspace with four parts that update together: the option chain, a strategy basket, an Analyse panel and a payoff chart. Add a leg from the chain and the other three change straight away.
Selling one SAIL 165 call (one lot, 4,700 shares) shows: max profit ₹3,055 (the premium), max loss unlimited, probability of profit 88% and breakeven 165.65, with Delta −1,309.99, Theta 749.00, Gamma −413.5925 and Vega −269.62 for the position.
- AProfit and loss
Max loss unlimited, max profit ₹3,055, probability of profit 88%, breakeven 165.65 (0.80% above the price).
- CPayoff
Green above zero, red below. The expiry line is flat at ₹3,055 up to 165, then falls with no floor.

- BGreeks
For the whole position: Delta −1,309.99, Theta 749.00 (time decay in your favour), Gamma and Vega.
3How it helps
- The whole trade before you place it. Profit, loss, odds, breakeven and Greeks sit beside the chain, not in another tool.
- Unlimited risk said out loud. A naked sold call shows Unlimited in red; you see it before you sell, not after.
- Numbers that move with you. Change a strike or the quantity and every figure updates.
- Probability of profit is an estimate from today's prices and volatility, not a promise.
- Greeks per strike on the chain are switched on from the chain's Customise settings (the gear beside the expiry, Show all Greeks).
Baskets and the margin you need
1Where it is
WhereOptions SellerOption chainB or S on a strike
In the option chain, hover a strike: the bar shows B and S with a basket icon, a chart button, a bookmark and an alert. Each B or S adds a leg to the basket in Strategy.
- AB
Adds a buy leg for this strike to the basket.
- DLeg marked on the chain
A strike already in the basket is tinted: red for sell, green for buy.

- BS
Adds a sell leg.
- CChart, bookmark, alert
Open this contract's chart, save it, or set an alert.
2What it is
A basket groups legs into one strategy. Sell the 165 call and the 165 put and SAHI names it a SAIL Basket, a short straddle, with the legs listed together.
Under the legs, SAHI shows the required margin and charges for the whole basket before you place it: ₹4,86,347 and ₹23.78 for this straddle, against ₹3,31,228 and ₹11.89 for the single sold call. If the balance is short, it says how much to add.
- ASecond leg
Sell 165 Put, 27 Oct, 4,700 (one lot), at market. With the sold call it makes a short straddle.
- BFunds check
Says up front when the balance does not cover the margin, and how much to add.

- CMargin and charges
Required margin ₹4,86,347 and charges ₹23.78 for the whole basket.
- DAdd funds or place
With enough balance this becomes the button that places every leg.
3How it helps
- One strategy, one order. Straddles, strangles, iron condors and spreads go in as a basket, not leg by leg while the price moves.
- No margin surprises. The margin for the whole strategy is on screen before you place it, and the shortfall if there is one.
- Charges in the open. Brokerage and fees for the basket are shown next to the margin.
Selling just the SAIL 165 call needs ₹3,31,228 of margin. Selling the 165 put as well, to make a straddle, raises it to ₹4,86,347, well under double the single leg. The basket shows both figures before anything is placed.
Selling options can lose far more than the premium you collect. Check max loss and breakeven in Analyse for the whole basket, not just each leg.
- These screens are SAHI web; SAHI's release shows the same terminal on the app.
